About Jason G. Miller

Jason G. Miller is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with more than 17 years of experience handling complex criminal cases throughout Maryland. As a founding partner of Miller Berman, LLC, he is dedicated to providing personalized, client-focused representation backed by the insight gained from years of service as a prosecutor and defense attorney. His extensive courtroom experience includes hundreds of bench trials and numerous jury trials involving charges ranging from DUI and traffic offenses to serious felony and homicide cases.

Known for his strategic approach and deep understanding of the criminal justice system, Mr. Miller leverages his prosecutorial background to anticipate government tactics and build strong defenses for his clients. He is also a respected legal educator, serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law and regularly training attorneys, law enforcement officers, and legal professionals across Maryland.

Mr. Miller’s unique background includes nationally recognized expertise in arson investigations, DUI defense, forensic evidence, and complex criminal investigations. His advanced training in areas such as fire investigations, computer forensics, mobile device analysis, and homicide investigations allows him to effectively challenge technical evidence and expert testimony in high-stakes cases.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Miller is an active leader within Maryland’s legal community, holding leadership positions with several prominent legal organizations. A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor cum laude, he remains committed to excellence, advocacy, and protecting the rights of those facing criminal charges.

When not practicing law, Mr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and children, attending sporting events, hiking, running, and fishing throughout Maryland.
