Ben is the founder and co-owner of Decker Griffel, LLC, bringing over fourteen years of dedicated legal experience to clients across New Mexico. Originally born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Ben’s journey eventually led him to New Mexico in 2008—a move that quickly turned into a lasting commitment to the community he now proudly serves.
His practice is built on a strong foundation of courtroom advocacy, with a primary focus on jury trials, Social Security disability hearings, and appeals. Over the years, Ben has developed a diverse legal portfolio, representing both individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters, including consumer protection, business transactions, personal injury, and disability law—on both the plaintiff and defense sides.
Known for his practical approach and steady courtroom presence, Ben is committed to guiding clients through complex legal challenges with clarity and determination.
Outside the office, Ben enjoys an active life in the New Mexico outdoors. Whether he’s mountain biking, skiing, or playing golf, he values staying active and grounded. Most importantly, he enjoys time with his wife, daughter, and their dogs. He also brings a sense of humor to everyday life, often sharing dad jokes and even helping his daughter with her Girl Scout cookie sales.
