Tom’s practice spans federal and state criminal defense, including drug trafficking, white-collar offenses, immigration-related crimes, and sex offenses, along with civil asset forfeiture litigation and compassionate release cases nationwide. He has successfully recovered over $1 million in seized property for individuals and businesses and has also challenged improper enforcement actions targeting lawful hemp businesses, helping clients regain property and protect their livelihoods.
A graduate with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law, Tom developed a strong foundation in constitutional law through moot court, mock trial, and research work with leading legal scholars. After beginning his career at a respected Atlanta trial firm, he went on to become a partner before founding The Church Law Firm to continue a legacy of aggressive, client-focused advocacy.
