Susan T. Perkins is an experienced attorney representing clients in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut in the areas of family law, divorce, criminal defense, DUI defense, and LGBTQ+ legal matters. Since being admitted to the bar in 1997, she has built a reputation for providing knowledgeable legal guidance, personalized representation, and dedicated advocacy for individuals facing complex legal challenges.

Before entering private practice, Attorney Perkins served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Rhode Island, where she prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases and gained extensive courtroom experience. Her background as a prosecutor gives her valuable insight into the criminal justice system, allowing her to develop effective legal strategies for clients in both criminal and family law matters.

In addition to her legal practice, Susan serves as a Bail Commissioner in Newport County and Vice Chair of the Rhode Island State Employee Personnel Appeal Board.
