A graduate of Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Robert began his legal career with a singular purpose: defending individuals accused of crimes. Unlike many attorneys, he has spent his entire career on the defense side, founding his own practice immediately after law school and dedicating himself exclusively to criminal law. His early experience as a public defender provided extensive courtroom exposure, helping him develop the trial skills and strategic insight that continue to benefit clients today.
Over the course of his career, Robert has represented more than 5,000 clients and tried over 100 jury trials in both state and federal courts. His experience spans a wide range of criminal matters, including DUI/DWI offenses, drug crimes, white-collar offenses, internet and computer crimes, violent crimes, sex offenses, juvenile matters, and federal criminal cases. He is a former President of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, advocating for criminal justice reform and stronger protections for the accused.
