Robert M.P. Masella is a seasoned trial attorney whose career reflects leadership, dedication, and a relentless commitment to protecting his clients’ futures. A Brooklyn, New York native, Robert built a foundation of excellence early in life as an All-American soccer player at Winthrop College before achieving national success in the corporate world. He later pursued his passion for law at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he developed the litigation skills that have become the cornerstone of his legal practice.
Since founding Masella Law Firm, P.A. in 1998, Robert has represented individuals and families facing some of life’s most challenging situations. His practice focuses on divorce, child custody, support disputes, property division, criminal defense, personal injury, and workers’ compensation matters. Known for his strategic advocacy and courtroom experience, he works tirelessly to protect his clients' rights while pursuing the best possible outcomes.
Robert’s distinguished legal career includes service as a law clerk to South Carolina Supreme Court Justice Kaye G. Hearn, prosecutor with the Richland County Solicitor’s Office, and Municipal Court Judge in Columbia, South Carolina. His leadership within the legal community has earned him appointments to numerous South Carolina Bar committees and state organizations. Combining decades of litigation experience with a client-centered approach, Robert remains dedicated to delivering trusted legal guidance and strong representation when it matters most.
