Laura Barton

Laura was raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where she was first exposed to the immigration system by working with African refugee families living there. She studied Spanish and International Business at Mississippi College, located in Jackson, MS before continuing on to earn her J.D. from the university’s law school.

Laura gained invaluable experience working at the Memphis Immigration Court before entering private practice at an immigration firm in coastal South Carolina. She brings to Goldstein & Associates her passion for helping immigrants achieve their goals in the United States as well as her expertise in family-based petitions, U visas, VAWA petitions, and representation before immigration courts. Based in the Philadelphia office, Laura enjoys exploring the city and cheering on the Eagles and the Phillies.
