Born in New Jersey and raised as an Air Force family member, I grew up traveling across the United States. I worked full-time while earning my college degree and continued that dedication throughout law school, where I received CALI Awards for achieving the highest grades in Bankruptcy, Evidence, and Civil Procedure. My passion for bankruptcy law began during law school, where I balanced academics with serving as Treasurer of Merit Scholars, membership in the Hand Inn of Court, interning for a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, and coaching the American Bar Association Moot Court Team.
After law school, I moved to North Carolina with my husband and began my legal career at a large law firm handling complex litigation matters. This experience helped me develop strong litigation skills and successfully represent clients in hundreds of cases.
In 2006, I transitioned into bankruptcy law, the area where I found my true calling. I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives and guiding them toward a fresh financial start. With bankruptcy involving both federal and state laws, I enjoy the complexity and problem-solving that make this field unique.
