Justin Peterson is a seasoned trial attorney and the founder of Peterson Law Office. Since graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law, he has built a litigation practice focused on delivering strong courtroom advocacy and achieving meaningful results for his clients. Over the course of his career, he has secured millions of dollars in settlements and has tried multiple criminal and civil cases to jury verdict as lead counsel.
Before establishing his own firm, Mr. Peterson served as a partner at a Lexington law firm and previously worked as a partner/shareholder at a major insurance defense firm. That experience representing insurance companies and their insureds at a high level of litigation gives him a strategic understanding of how claims are evaluated and defended—knowledge he now uses to advance the interests of injured individuals and other clients.
His practice spans a broad range of litigation matters, including auto and truck accidents, premises liability, slip and fall cases, medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, insurance bad faith, product liability, business and contractual disputes, employment law, wrongful termination, and civil rights claims involving discrimination and retaliation. In addition to his practice, he serves as General Counsel for the Lexington Legends and coaches trial advocacy teams at the University of Kentucky College of Law.
