J.L. King II, represents clients in jury trials and is one of the most experienced civil trial lawyers in Georgia. J.L. primarily represents catastrophically injured victims and the families of individuals who have died as a result of negligence. J.L. is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and regularly represents clients in both states.

Experience as a Former Insurance Defense Attorney

Before focusing on the representation of injured victims and families of those victims, J.L. worked for one of the premier insurance defense firms in the Southeastern United States. In addition to defending trucking claims, he defended manufacturers, insurance companies, major retailers, and construction companies. Many of these claims sought damages in excess of $1 million, and several sought over $10 million.

As lead counsel, J.L. secured a zero verdict in a jury trial where the plaintiff had asked for over $18 million in damages. J.L. is familiar with handling high dollar claims and has learned from the inside how insurance companies approach these claims. Further, J.L. knows what motivates insurance companies to provide fair and full compensation for injuries.
