Robert Showers is the founder and managing partner of Simms Showers Law, a DC Metro and Virginia firm with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Before founding the firm in 2002, he was a managing owner of a Washington, D.C. area firm for 13 years, where he led the litigation and appellate departments. Before entering private practice, Robert was a federal prosecutor, founded the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, and served as Chief of the Civil Section in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Raleigh, North Carolina.
