Sarah E. Baron Houy is an attorney at Bangs McCullen, where she has practiced since 2007. Her practice focuses on employment law and sexual harassment, family law, general civil litigation, and criminal defense, including federal criminal defense. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis, cum laude, from the University of South Dakota in 2002 and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006. She is admitted in South Dakota and Missouri, as well as the U.S. District Court of South Dakota, Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court.
Sarah holds an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has received multiple awards for her legal and pro bono work, including Pro Bono Attorney of the Year and the South Dakota State Bar President’s Pro Bono Award. Before joining Bangs McCullen, she clerked for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in northeast South Dakota.
