Ashley Brost is a partner and litigation attorney at Davenport Evans, where she focuses her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on trust and estate litigation. She also has significant experience in personal injury litigation, appellate practice, criminal defense, and family law. Ashley serves as a Criminal Justice Act attorney for the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, handling federal criminal cases by court appointment.
A Sioux Falls native, Ashley joined Davenport Evans in 2018. She earned a B.A. from Augustana University and a master’s degree in education from the University of Sioux Falls before graduating with Sterling Honors from the University of South Dakota School of Law. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Roger L. Wollman of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2022, she received the Rising Star Award from the South Dakota Civil Defense Lawyers Association.
