Michael Hoard

Michael Hoard is a partner at HW Legal Group with nearly 30 years of legal service. He began his career in 1999 as a prosecutor with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where he argued appeals as an Assistant Attorney General. He later founded his own firm, expanding from Chicago to Charlotte’s SouthPark community. His practice focuses on bankruptcy law, real estate transactions, and estate planning, serving individuals and businesses.

Beyond his legal practice, Michael Hoard serves on several nonprofit boards that promote fair and equitable housing. He brings his advocacy experience to both his legal work and community involvement, helping clients and real estate partners address their legal needs.
