R. Lee Myers is an attorney with more than 45 years of legal experience in the Charlotte area and a lifelong resident of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He is a Certified Superior Court Mediator and a member of the North Carolina Bar, admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his legal practice, Lee is recognized for his business leadership and community service.
In 1976, Lee established Myers and Myers with his father, Charles Truett Myers. On January 1, 2007, he co-founded Myers Law Firm, PLLC, with his son, Matthew. Lee served as Mayor of Matthews, North Carolina, from 1991 to 2009, following four years on the town council. He has also served on local boards and commissions, including the Novant Health Charlotte Board of Trustees and the Matthews Help Center Board. In 2009, he received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine in recognition of his service to North Carolina.
