Ms. Peralta is a New Mexico attorney with experience in insurance defense, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation. After earning her law degree in 2023, she spent two and a half years practicing insurance defense. During law school, she gained experience through clerkships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico, the New Mexico Public Defender’s Office, the Second and Thirteenth District Attorneys’ Offices, and a private criminal law firm. She also worked with Advocacy Partners LLC Family Disability Service.
Ms. Peralta graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy and earned her law degree cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2023. She received the Professor Michael B. Browde Award for excellence in Constitutional Law. She is licensed in New Mexico state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and is a member of the American Bar Association, New Mexico Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.
