Carmela Starace is the lead estate and fiduciary litigation attorney at The Law Office of Cristy Carbón-Gaul. Licensed to practice law in New Mexico since 2006, she earned her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she served on the Law Review and received the Clinical Honors Award for the class of 2005.
Starace has experience in civil litigation as both a defense and plaintiff’s attorney, having practiced with Rodey, Dickason, Sloan, Akin, & Robb, P.A. and Fadduol, Cluff, Hardy & Conaway, P.C. She also served as Senior Trial Attorney at the Eighth Judicial District Attorney’s Office, handling criminal prosecution. In addition to her New Mexico practice, she is licensed in New York, where she focuses on real property law and previously worked as an associate at the Law Firm of Nica B. Strunk, PLLC.
