Matthew G. Gunn is an Idaho attorney who was born and raised in the state and has developed his legal career in the Treasure Valley. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Arkansas, where he excelled in track and field and cross country. During his collegiate athletic career, he received All-SEC honors four times, competed on five NCAA Division I National Championship teams, and earned the Walter Byers Scholarship, the NCAA’s highest academic award. Matthew later obtained his law degree from Columbia University, where he served as an editor for the American Review of International Arbitration.

He subsequently gained private practice experience in Idaho’s Treasure Valley, working with Rossman Law Group, Holland & Hart, and Brassey, Crawford and Howell. His judicial clerkships and work alongside experienced litigators have contributed to his legal background. Outside his professional life, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and ice hockey, and exploring Idaho’s outdoors.
