Efthymios Katsarelis grew up in Athens, Greece. He attended the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Law and practiced law, with an emphasis in criminal defense, in Athens for 3 years before moving to the United States. In 2019, he earned an LLM from the University of Arizona School of Law and proceeded to move to Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his JD from the John Marshall Law School (Currently UIC).
