Alan C. Shafner is a Colorado personal injury attorney and founder of Shafner Injury Law. He graduated with distinction from the University of Colorado in 1975 and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston in 1978.
After law school, Alan served as a trial attorney with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office from 1979 through 1983, handling felony cases. He later practiced with Fogel, Keating and Wagner before establishing his own personal injury law firm in 2011.
Alan has handled and tried a wide range of personal injury matters, including car accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and neglect, and catastrophic trucking accidents. He has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates since 1998 and has served on the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee.
