David R. Karr, Jr.

David R. Karr, Jr. is a West Virginia attorney who has provided legal representation throughout the state since 1986. He is admitted to practice in all West Virginia courts, including the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. He previously served as Prosecuting Attorney of Jackson County and was credited with obtaining one of the county’s first successful murder convictions in more than 50 years.

David earned his B.S. from West Virginia University in 1982 and his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 1986. His professional experience includes private practice, serving as counsel to the West Virginia State Senate, and working with the Senate Committees on Banking and Insurance and Natural Resources. He has also held professional roles as a CPA and real estate broker.
