Nicholas “Nico” LaHood is the founding attorney of LaHood Norton Goss Law Group, PLLC, in San Antonio, Texas. A San Antonio native and former Bexar County District Attorney, he has over two decades of experience as a criminal defense attorney and prosecutor. During his tenure as District Attorney, he led a legal team of more than 500 employees, including 200 lawyers.
Before being elected District Attorney in 2014, Nico served as a Bexar County Magistrate Judge, a special prosecutor for neighboring counties, and an adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University School of Law. He also taught at local police academies, including the San Antonio Police Department Academy. He earned his B.A. in Finance and Financial Services and Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University. Nico is a member of the National Order of Barristers and is committed to defending the rights of individuals through dedicated and ethical legal representation.
