Kevin Chavez received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in Ohio. He has worked with several prominent law firms and previously served in an “of counsel” capacity for the consulates of Guatemala, Mexico, El Salvador, Peru, and Panama. He has also appeared as a legal commentator on Spanish-speaking radio and television stations in Houston.
Mr. Chavez is the past president of the Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston and a Texas Bar College Fellow. His professional memberships include the Christian Legal Society, National Employment Lawyers Association, and American Association for Justice. He has also served on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Houston Subcommittee and as a board member of the Southwest Houston Redevelopment Authority (TIRZ 20).
