Emily Smith

Emily Smith is a Texas attorney who has focused exclusively on probate law since 2016. A fifth-generation Texan, she was born and raised in Dallas and helps clients understand and navigate the complex requirements of the Texas probate system. Her experience includes working with North Texas probate courts and understanding their local rules and procedures.

Emily earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she focused on probate and family law. She began her legal career practicing family law in California and overseas while her husband served as a U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer. After returning to Dallas, she transitioned her practice to Texas probate law. Emily is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California.
