Deandra M. Grant is the founder and managing partner of Deandra Grant Law, a Texas criminal defense firm focused on DWI and criminal defense. Licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 1993, she is a former Dallas County prosecutor and an ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist. She earned her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida. Grant is also a former National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Testing instructor and the author of The Texas DWI Manual, now in its 13th edition, along with 16 additional books on DWI and criminal defense law.
Grant trains DWI attorneys throughout Texas and serves as Executive Director of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association (DUIDLA).
