Bernie McEvoy is a criminal defense attorney with more than 25 years of experience handling DUI, domestic violence, sex crimes, criminal citations, and serious criminal offenses throughout Middle Tennessee. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Nashville, serving as a prosecutor from 1990 to 2005. For six years, he focused exclusively on DUI and vehicular homicide cases, serving as head of the DUI/vehicular homicide prosecution team.
Bernie prosecuted thousands of DUI cases, trying more than 100 DUI cases and 10 vehicular homicide cases before juries. He also spent six years prosecuting serious child abuse, sexual abuse, and child homicide cases.
