Amanda Raye Thornton is a Tennessee family law attorney who has focused her legal career on family law matters since 2007. She earned her B.S. from Western Kentucky University in 2003 and her J.D. from Nashville School of Law in 2007. After joining Roberts & Associates, she primarily handled family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, paternity, and visitation. She later helped form Roberts, Thornton & Pence in 2013 and joined Thornton & Pence in 2019, where she continues to focus solely on family law.
Ms. Thornton handles family law cases in circuit, chancery, juvenile, and general sessions courts throughout Middle Tennessee. She has also handled several appellate cases before the Court of Appeals. She was admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Tennessee, Middle District, in 2009. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son and family and being outdoors.
