Family Law Attorney in Portland, Oregon
Alecia is an Oregon family law attorney who has represented clients in domestic relations matters since being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in September 2012. She understands the challenges of family law disputes and focuses on clear communication, developing case plans with clients, and pursuing negotiated settlements or courtroom advocacy. She also represented individuals in civil commitment hearings for three years, gaining experience with Oregon’s mental health system.
Alecia earned her B.A. in Communication and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and her law degree from Seattle University in 2012. Before law school, she worked as a legal assistant at Davis Law Firm in Beaverton, Oregon. She later supported Gay Canaday in her Lake Oswego practice before working with Stephens & Margolin PC and transitioning to Margolin Family Law.
