Michael Risley is an Oklahoma attorney who earned his B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2005 and his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2010. While in law school, he received the American Bar Association’s Curtin Fellowship for his work involving alternative sentencing for homeless defendants.
Michael returned to the University of Oklahoma in 2009, where he provided pro bono criminal defense services to low- and no-income clients through the O.U. College of Law’s Criminal Defense Clinic. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2010. Born in Singapore and raised between London, England, and Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Michael’s experiences have shaped his respect for diversity and commitment to serving others.
