Bruce Ringstrom Jr. is a criminal defense attorney with 15 years of experience trying a wide range of criminal cases. He has secured not guilty verdicts in cases involving attempted murder, criminal vehicular homicide, criminal sexual conduct, felony theft, first-degree assault and burglary, domestic assault, terroristic threats, DWI, and manslaughter. After working as a public defender in Northern Minnesota, Bruce founded Ringstrom Law in 2013. In 2021, he partnered with Dane DeKrey to establish Ringstrom DeKrey PLLP, a criminal defense firm serving the Red River Valley and surrounding areas.
Bruce served four years in the U.S. Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1997. He studied Philosophy and History at Minnesota State University Moorhead and earned his law degree from Hamline University School of Law. He is a graduate of the Minnesota Public Defender Trial School and Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College. Bruce is certified as a Criminal Law Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and is licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota.
