Christopher M. Jantzen

Christopher M. Jantzen is the managing partner of Jantzen & Associates, P.C., located in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated summa cum laude from Boston College in 1980 and cum laude from Boston College Law School in 1984. With 35 years of litigation experience, he represents small businesses and individuals in commercial litigation, commercial collections, insurance defense, plaintiff personal injury, medical malpractice, software business disputes, and motor vehicle offense cases. He has been recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, placing him among the top 5% of his profession. He also lectures on Chapter 93A liability and provides courses on the subject for insurers.

Jantzen has handled a wide range of significant litigation matters, including securing a $2 million medical malpractice settlement for a family, recovering $380,000 on a $300,000 debt, and helping defeat a million-dollar defamation lawsuit. He also played a key role in exposing an insurance fraud scheme, saving MetLife Auto and Home more than $600,000 in fraudulent claims and earning the 2000 New England Association of Insurance Fraud Investigators’ Investigator of the Year award. Other notable matters include defeating a $2.1 million directors and officers insurance claim and recovering more than $1 million for a disabled Vietnam veteran who had been defrauded by relatives. Jantzen practices in District, Superior, and federal courts in Massachusetts and has also served as pro hac vice counsel in Rhode Island. He is a past and present member of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Section, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Norfolk Bar Association.
