Christopher M. Winter is the Managing Partner of Duane Morris’s Wilmington office and maintains a practice in the firm’s Philadelphia office. His practice focuses on commercial finance, corporate and commercial transactions, and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters. He represents agents, lenders, borrowers, and other parties in secured lending transactions, including debtor-in-possession and exit facility loans, as well as workouts, restructurings, and enforcement actions. He also represents private bank lenders in securities-based and custom loan transactions and advises clients on asset sales, private placements, and other corporate and commercial matters.
Winter co-chairs the Finance and Restructuring Transactions division of Duane Morris’s Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practice Group and serves as team lead for the firm’s Banking and Finance industry group. He also advises on the formation and organization of corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities for joint ventures, investments, and acquisitions. As a member of the firm’s opinion committee, he regularly provides legal opinions under Delaware law.
