Family Law Attorney
Peter M. Walzer is a California family law attorney and Founding Partner of Walzer Melcher & Yoda LLP. He has practiced family law for more than four decades, beginning his legal career in the early 1980s. His practice focuses on complex family law matters, including high-net-worth divorce, property division, child custody, child and spousal support, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Mr. Walzer earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1975 and received his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1980. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1981 and is a California Certified Family Law Specialist. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions in professional organizations, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he served as national president.
He has also contributed to family law publications and educational programs and has been involved in professional legal organizations focused on matrimonial and family law.
