James B. Lewis

Since 1996, attorney James B. Lewis has helped clients throughout Southern California win their Social Security Disability claims. Before practicing law, he served in the U.S. Army's 24th Infantry Division (Mechanized) from 1988 to 1992, followed by service in the Army Reserve until 1996 — an experience that shaped his commitment to advocating for others.

James began his legal career in Oklahoma before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1998, where he represented clients in personal injury, workers' compensation, and Social Security Disability cases. He later moved to Los Angeles to be closer to family, bringing years of litigation experience with him.

Licensed to practice in California and Oklahoma, James is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). His approach centers on listening closely to each client's story, building a clear case strategy, and maintaining open communication every step of the way.
