Criminal Law Attorney
Stephen D. Klarich is a Founding Partner (Retired) of Wallin & Klarich with more than four decades of legal experience in California criminal defense. He began practicing law in 1981 after earning his B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University and J.D. from Western State University College of Law. Throughout his career, Stephen has handled a wide range of criminal matters, including serious felony charges, sex crimes, domestic violence, juvenile cases, and drug offenses.
His practice has also focused extensively on post-conviction matters, including appeals, writs of habeas corpus, Certificates of Rehabilitation, and Governor’s Pardons. Stephen has represented clients in California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
He previously served as Chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Orange County Bar Association and has lectured on criminal law topics. His professional background includes extensive courtroom and appellate experience and involvement in legal education for attorneys and community organizations.
