Colin Luke is a healthcare attorney and executive partner of Holland & Knight’s Birmingham office. He has extensive experience advising healthcare providers across academic, governmental, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors on healthcare transactions, regulatory compliance, and operational matters. His practice includes Certificate of Need matters, healthcare joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and the sale or divestiture of healthcare facilities.
Luke advises hospitals, health systems, physicians, and outpatient service providers on compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, patient privacy requirements, and state healthcare regulations. He also assists clients with corporate compliance programs, provider and payer certifications, facility licensure, and other operational issues.
